Educating the whole student is important at Macris School, so we strive to create opportunities for students to explore their interests and talents in a variety of clubs and activities. Some of these activities are Macris traditions such as senior dress up days, wax museum in elementary school, and independence day celebrations to name a few. There are also popular clubs such as the band, choir, math, knowledge bowl, among others. Some of the clubs are internal and non-competitive while others include national or even international competitions.
In addition to existing clubs/activities, we are open to creating new opportunities for student interest. If students have a particular interest for which there is no current club or activity, we mentor them through the creation process including developing a club manual and pair the student up with a teacher advisor to help run the club/activity.
